Spark Plug Monogram Orange Tee

We think it’s time for an orange comeback.

Orange once had a real presence on the road. In the late 60s and 70s it wasn’t unusual: the Lamborghini Miura and the Alfa Romeo Montreal come to mind.
At the time, manufacturers across Europe weren’t afraid to experiment with rich, saturated colours. It was a period when car design and colour moved together, and orange played its part in giving cars a sense of personality.
By the late 80s the trend was already fading, with only a few exceptions like the Fiat Barchetta’s brief run in bright orange launched in 1995.
Outside motorsport liveries such as McLaren’s or Jägermeister’s, the colour has become increasingly rare in production cars. Today, orange barely appears in showrooms at all.
